Mutual Recognition with Over 100 Countries and Organizations! Shanghai SEMCORP Has Received CNAS Laboratory Accreditation Certificate

Recently, Shanghai SEMCORP Analysis and Testing Center was accredited by China National Accreditation on Service for Conformity Assessment(CNAS for short) and successfully joined the list of nationally accredited laboratories.

CNAS is a national accreditation institution approved, established and authorized by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C (CNCA). CNAS accreditation is an authoritative national assessment of a laboratory’s comprehensive capabilities in modern days and possesses high value and reliability.

What is notable is that CNAS shares mutual recognition with International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation(APAC). ILAC’s main tool is to establish and maintain multilateral mutual recognition agreements(“MRA” for short) between institution members accredited by ILAC, which means testing reports from Shanghai SEMCORP Analysis and Testing Center are not only accredited within China, but also receive mutual recognition from over 100 ILAC member countries and organizations including the US, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, etc..
